It is a collective, there is no single thing that decides do you keep him or release him.Despite Kent impressive at Ibrox, he has made just two appearances since the beginning of November due to a couple of injuries.He made his return in Rangers’ most recent match, the 1-0 defeat of Celtic, however, and should be fully fit for the Gers’ return to action against Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup on January 18.
