I’m a Celebrity 2018: Harry Redknapp treated with East End delicacy of eels for dinner and does hilarious song to celebrate
I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here has been a learning curve for Harry Redknapp. He’s said how he has made friends with people he would never usually mix with, but perhaps the biggest change has been to what he eats.Harry is one of the favourites to win this series of I’m a Celeb2

As well as drinkingpig penis smoothies in Bushtucker Trials, Harry has been forced to broaden his dietary horizons with whatever meals have been provided for camp at dinner time.Harry has sampled meals including crocodile, which he appeared reluctant to eat, but the dinner in last night’s episode was a lovely piece of nostalgia for him.The campmates were treated to eels for dinner, a lovely throwback to the former West Ham player and manager’s beginnings in London’s East End.Understandably, Harry was chuffed at this and so much so he sung a song alongside Fleur East and Malique Thompson-Dwyer to celebrate – and it caused other campmates to chime in too!

It was a great ending to an episode which started showing Harry’s reaction to Noel Edmonds’ surprise exit from the jungle.Harry and Noel forged a friendship after the TV personality, who arrived late as camp emperor, appointed the ex-Tottenham, Bournemouth, West Ham and Southampton boss as his trusty adviser. And Harry had some kinds words for his friend as he left the campsite, saying: “It’s been great meeting you. I love you to bits.”He then went onto say in the Bush Telegraph that Noel was a “lovely guy.”Noel and Harry bonded on the show2

However, the celebrities didn’t wait too long to search through Noel’s camp gear he left behind to see if there was anything they could use!Harry grabbed Noel’s bar of soap after losing his own one a few days earlier!Last night’s show also saw guitarist for The Vamps James McVey elected camp leader, with actor Rita Simons as his assistant. And while it’s not clear whether these roles will be any more than figurehead status, Harry has befriended James over the last few days so it could work in his favour!Harry has also been handed a new duty around the campsite – to wash the dishes.Worryingly, he said he hasn’t done the dishes in 54 years so how this could affect the campsite we’ll have to see. After explaining how he jet-washed his wife Sandra’s plants this could produce yet more hilarious Harry Redknapp moments!
